Privacy Policy
Amendments
Any revision to Menu and Pax Count, less than 3 working days before event date would be subject to availability of restaurant. Jumbo Group of Restaurants reserves the right to reject any changes requested.
Cancellation
Please be advised the following cancellation charges will be levied as liquidated damages should the function is cancelled. Jumbo Group of Restaurants reserves the right to forfeit deposits held. In addition, Jumbo Group of Restaurants will impose a cancellation charge as follows:
- Between 90 days and up to 60 days out prior to the function, a cancellation charge of 50% of the total expected banquet charges shall be incurred.
- Between 60 days and up to 30 days prior to the function, a cancellation charge of 75% of the total banquet charges shall be incurred.
- Within 30 days prior to the function, a cancellation charge of 100% of the total banquet charges shall be incurred.
*Percentage is based on the total cost of event.
Postponement of Event Date(s)
Any request for postponement or change to the Event Date(s) shall be subject to our sole and absolute discretion.
Within 90 days prior to the function, a postponement charge of 10% of the total banquet charges shall be incurred. (Estimated 3 months).
Upon our approval of such postponement or change to the Event Date(s), you shall pay the charges within three (3) days of our approval.
Damage
In the event of any damage to Jumbo Group of Restaurants property during your function, we will charge you / your company for all repair or replacement costs incurred
Force Majeure
“Force Majeure Event” means an Act of God including but not limited to fire, flood, lightning strikes, windstorm or other natural disaster; act of sovereign including but not limited to war, invasion, act of foreign enemies, hostilities, insurrection, destruction or damage to property by or under the order of any government or public authority; labour dispute including but not limited to strike, lockout or boycott; or any event beyond the reasonable control of either party.
Then
Jumbo Group of Restaurants shall be entitled by written notice to you to terminate or revise the Agreement so long as the Force Majeure Event renders performance of the agreement impossible.
Whereupon
Jumbo Group of Restaurants shall use its sole discretion with regards to the costs payable and will inform you accordingly.
Neither party shall be liable to the other party in contract, tort, negligence, breach of statutory duty or otherwise for any damage, costs or loss of property suffered or incurred by that other party arising out of or from a Force Majeure Event.
